Night Tree

Jolene and I hung out with Zach and Martha last night. As we walked the streets from restaurant to restaurant we observed this tree. Pretty cool.

Swaddle

From what Joe and Kim tell me baby Mia loves to be swaddled, how can you go wrong with a nice warm pink blanket? According to Mia this is the best way to get a late night nap. Hmmm, I might try this myself.

Secrets

Hung out with the guys last night; we always have a great time. Chris and Joe exposed many new secrets of parenthood to Pat and I. It's kind of like a Quilting Bee but with interesting conversations of sports, video games, work, wives, kids and God.

Sign

Jolene and I have never used the community center, I think we intended to someday. But for now it makes a cool picture.

Zookeeper

Jolene’s job involves quite a bit of animal handling. She belongs to a group of people that are all related to animal science. They had a picnic on Saturday and invited a Woodland Park Zoo zookeeper to speak on animal enrichment. After the lecture I was pretty convinced we have a great city zoo with some awesome animal handlers. I will be going to the zoo soon.

Side Note: He also told us that rats were very trainable and could be taught to sit, lie down and roll over. The wheels started turning in my mind.

Allen Institute Company Picnic

We all went to the Mariner’s game after the picnic; yes the seats were high up and in the sun. Me, being the sports fan that I am could not tell if the M’s won or lost. I pasted this ticket on my head to keep the sun out of my eyes, next time I will bring a hat.

Oh, that’s Jolene, Ron, Geri and I.

In and Out

The ‘Jet Setter’ graced us with her presence last night. It was good to see her…but she will be off again tomorrow.

Sneaky Church Picture

I took a picture during the service, sorry for the poor quality but I was trying to be sneaky. Do you think Pastor Paul would disapprove of my blogger activities during church?

Faithful Few

Morning Prayer group, yup, it’s quite a discipline. It’s more of a discipline when David makes you stand a take a picture. Trust me, this picture will someday be found the Rainier Avenue Church annals.

Old faces with new ones!

Match the kid with the parent...life is very strange. When did these kids become parents?

More New Homes

I have never fully comprehended the construction process, but from what I understand... 1. Dig a big monstrous hole (depicted above) 2. Plant a 2x4 in the center and cover it with dirt. 3. Water 4. Fertilize 5. Watch as it grows. 6. Full Maturation = House 7. More annoying neighbors move in.

Another Kid

Just another kid from down the street.

St. Francis Returns

Through a tragic neighborhood event our St. Francis was run over by a car. As you all know I am not a catholic, but I really have enjoyed this lawn ornament over the years. Not getting into the small details our saint was repaired by the neighbors who ran over it, which is a good thing. All is good again.

The Xbox Experience

For those of you that have ever wondered what it is like to come to work for a gaming company, this is what I see every morning. So, yeah, it looks the same as any other place...but the feeling is a little different.

Happy Easter?

When you catch your family in Miami Vice colors you know its time to blog that shot! And a good looking group to boot!

The Hat

A couple months back I took a few pictures of 'The Boots', well now they have been working on 'The Hat'! Check it out...

South Park Library

I am very glad they completed the library before they decided to repair the bridge. If they had gone ahead with the bridge repair plan, it was a guaranteed no new library. South Park really deserved something cool for a change!

Windmill

Dad recommend I take a picture of this windmill in South Park...before it is removed someday. It’s a good depiction of what South Park was like 60 years ago.

South Park Cityscape

Jolene and I went on walk the other night and I captured this shot as we where walking up a hill.

Another South Park Creature

Can you guess what it is? I am sure you can. However, if you have kids ask them what they think it is. I would love to know their answer.

Mt. St. Helens

I took quite a few shots from the plane last week...this will be the final one I post.

Roxanne's Birthday

Sorry, delayed birthday picture. Today I went through a Microsoft job interview loop, eight interviews in nine hours; I am a tiny bit tired.

Can you spot it?

It's kind of like where's Waldo, which one is our house? Do you know? Here's a hint, its the one right next to the mountain of glass.

Friend to all...well some animals

Several of the new birds that have been around our house lately aren't the greatest at navigation. This one hit our front window with a huge bang. Jolene nursed it back to health yesterday, it eventually flew away.

Home

It's good to be home! The flight in this afternoon was a blogger's dream; the city from this view was incredible.

Nathan was the last friend to visit before we headed to Santa Marthas. This is Nathan with his daughter and beneath that is Eli, their very cute little boy.
