Thanks Mom for the Firebird

This last weekend my mother took me to my first concert at Benaroya Hall. It was amazing! We witnessed several musical pieces all culminating into the final section "Stravinsky's firebird suite". The Seattle Symphony nailed it. Thank you Mom for dinner and a show, I had a great time.

Madi's First Haircut

Today was Madi's first haircut, and she handled like a champ. A father was never so proud of both his girls. No muss no fuss. Of course it helps to have a professional hair stylist like Sandy.

Happy Birthday Grandma K

Today we celebrate grandma K's birthday. The girls and I are very thankful that grandma is around for hugs kisses and amazing activities. Here's to another great year and beyond.

Mad Men?

Are preschool co-op had a "Mad Men" fundraising event and the ladies got all dolled up for the occasion. In true Mad Men 60's style. Which left Uncle Robert and I with the little ladies, which also turned out to be quite fun. Robert, Kaylene, Madi and I all had dinner next to James Brown, yeah, ask us about it.

Magic Gnome Returns

Man it must be great being small, Kaylene had some similar looks when she was oh so little. As always the tub is so much fun and Madi loves a good bath and laugh.

Snack Time

Seems we are always having snack time around here and its about time we documented this daily occasion. Here you find both snackers happily eating their snack of choice, Goldfish! And if you are wondering why both girls are in shorts, simple, Kaylene and I both declared it was Hawaiian hula day. I got my Hawaiian shirt and we watch several youtube videos of the sacred island dance. Oh and of course we put our sunscreen on.

Baby Nora we are sooooo glad you are here! Sorry for the late post, its been quite busy around the Kidney house (took us a week to clean up from last weeks post). I am overjoyed again to be an uncle of such a lovely, healthy, sleepy little girl. Thank you God for so many blessings.

Somebody in this picture is 40 years old today! So many different landmarks are occurring for our little family. If you'll notice the baby seat above, we actually brought both girls home in that bucket and neither of them use it now. Also can you believe that Madi will be 1 next week. Woosh!!!

Dedication

Madilene and the family went to church today for her dedication. It was awesome! As you can see my girls looked beautiful and ready to take on the world. It's been a great December so far.

Cups

Madi loves using her fingers, She loves grasping and pulling at anything (including her sisters hair). Above you see one of her favorite activities, pushing, pulling, pressing and punishing her pink cups. poor cups ;-)
