Time to turn up the heat! blog style





The Field Museum of Chicago is amazing; it has captivated my imagination since I was a child. I loved the dinosaurs but what I really think got me excited was the large murals of prehistoric creatures in their natural surroundings. This recent self discovery has turned me on to the art of Charles R. Knight. This turn of the (last) century painter was the first to paint early animal life, above are examples of this man’s extraordinary work.
