Jolene’s job involves quite a bit of animal handling. She belongs to a group of people that are all related to animal science. They had a picnic on Saturday and invited a Woodland Park Zoo zookeeper to speak on animal enrichment. After the lecture I was pretty convinced we have a great city zoo with some awesome animal handlers. I will be going to the zoo soon. Side Note: He also told us that rats were very trainable and could be taught to sit, lie down and roll over. The wheels started turning in my mind.

The WPZoo is great. We're members and plan to keep renewing as long as it remains a fun family destination.
